Getting started
From zero to first insight in about five minutes. Every new workspace starts on a 14-day Business trial, no card required.
1 · Connect GitHub
- Install the WePerform GitHub App on your organization. Scopes are read-only (Contents, Metadata, Pull requests) plus Checks write for the status line.
- GitHub redirects you back to WePerform — sign in with your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace account and click Claim this workspace to become its owner.
- The three-year history backfill starts automatically; your first PR or push after install produces a check within minutes.
1b · Or connect GitLab
- In your GitLab group, create a group access token (role Reporter or higher, scopes
read_apiandapi). Works on gitlab.com and self-managed. - In WePerform's onboarding page, paste the group id, path and token. The token goes directly to encrypted storage — never our database.
- Add the group webhook we show you (Push events + Merge request events) with its one-time secret token.
2 · Map your developers
In Settings → People, map source identities to sign-in accounts: GitHub developers by username, GitLab developers by commit email. Unmapped authors seen in your repos are suggested automatically. Mapped developers can sign in and see all of their own data — that transparency is the point.
3 · Read the signals
- PR check — “Quality A · no new security findings”: a quality grade from complexity density, plus the security outcome. Neutral (never failing) unless it's about a possible committed secret, which always surfaces.
- Team dashboard — churn-adjusted trends, AI-code share, security findings introduced vs. resolved, cycle times.
- My work — sampled LLM reviews with scores and a written rationale, scored against the published rubric. Disagree? Flag the review; disputes get human eyes and drop out of trends.
Billing in one paragraph
Seats are metered: you pay for developers who actually committed or reviewed that month, reconciled nightly — nothing to manage. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades and cancellations at the end of the period. Yearly billing gets 2 months free.
