Frequently asked questions

How are seats counted?

You're billed only for active developers — people who authored a commit or reviewed a PR that month. Seat counts reconcile automatically every night from your actual activity, so you never over- or under-pay. Dormant accounts cost nothing.

What does the 14-day trial include?

Every new workspace starts on full Business features with no card required. At day 14 it quietly becomes a Free workspace unless you subscribe — nothing breaks, no surprise charges.

Do you store our source code?

No — architecturally no. Diffs are analyzed transiently in memory and discarded. We persist metrics, scores, and written rationales only. See the security page for the full data inventory.

What happens to our history if we upgrade?

Everything is ingested from day one — plans gate how far back you can look (90 days / 1 year / 3 years). Upgrading unlocks your full history instantly.

Can we cancel anytime?

Yes, self-serve from the customer portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period; downgrades also take effect at the period end, never mid-cycle.

GitHub or GitLab?

Both, in the same workspace pricing. GitHub via our App (one-click install), GitLab via a group access token — including self-managed GitLab instances.
